23rd march london zen dayThis will be a Zen Day in London led by Yashô Valérie Guéneau, a Zen nun of more than twenty years.  She is a disciple of Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure, abbot of the Zen Buddhist Monastery, Kanshoji, in France.

Directions:

St. Hilda’s is an eight-minute walk from Honor Oak Park Station or Crofton Park Station.

Honor Oak Park – on the East London Overground Line; regular services also run from London Bridge

Crofton Park – trains run every half hour from London Blackfriars via Elephant and Castle

Cost:

£25 rommended (£20 / £15 concession) – includes lunch

Bring:

a zafu if you have one, and for the meal, a bowl with your own spoon, fork and a cloth for wrapping them together.  Please wear dark, loose clothing for the day
